"The Diamond State Romance Authors wanted to do something because we've been out to the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Rescue and love what they're doing out there. They've got a great program to help home these animals and give them a place to live for the rest of their lives," says Elle James, the book author.
Turpentine Creek needs about seven thousand dollars for each of the 34 big cats. That's a total of 238 thousand dollars.
KNWA has been following this story here in Northwest Arkansas as Turpentine Creek moves 30 tigers, 2 cougars and 2 leopards.
