P-Dylan Breeding (on his emotions on Senior Day) -"Senior Day for me is how Tyler (Wilson) was saying, this is our last opportunity. This is like our bowl game for this season. It is going to be really emotional for me because I am coming from out of state. I didn't know what I was getting myself into at Arkansas but it has been one heck of a ride. Regardless of the ups and the downs that we have been through, it is going to be one emotional roller coaster when I run through the A for the last time. That is something that I look forward to, to do that one last time. I want to soak it all in and create a memory that will last forever."
P-Dylan Breeding (on being part of this senior class) -"Coming here freshman year, I knew that there were going to be things that were going to be really good toward building a program. Arkansas had a losing record when I arrived so I didn't really know how good we were going to get. The first year at the Liberty Bowl was kind of a down season but there was still some optimism about the future. Getting to the Sugar Bowl and the Cotton Bowl; that is about as good as it's gotten here. It has been one awesome time to be a part of a pretty sweet time in Arkansas history. It will continue at some point. Although we have gone down a little bit this year, there is no reason in the world to think that Arkansas can't rally back up. There is going to be some good recruits that want to come back. There is going to be some great coaches that are always going to lead. Regardless of who those coaches are, Arkansas is always going to stay relevant."
P-Dylan Breeding (on his NFL draft potential) -"I have no idea. God has his hand on my life. I really hope that he can allow that opportunity for me to play pro football. I know that the chances as far as getting drafted are really low for a punter. The average is about two per year. I would hope that I can get an opportunity to be a free agent of some type and get my shot. Coming from high school to college, Arkansas was my only shot. Throughout my career I have made the most of it. There are a couple things here and there I wish I could have back. I feel pretty pleased overall with how I have been. I hope that one NFL team gives me a chance and hopefully I can perform in that fashion."
P-Dylan Breeding (on how much he has improved in the last four years ) -"Tremendously because when I got here my freshman year, just looking at the stats, my longest punt that year was 54 yards. My average was not even 39 yards. Just on paper I have gotten a lot better but from year to year. I feel like I have gotten more consistent and, like in golf, a golfer isn't defined by how many great shots he has but he doesn't have as many mishits. As a punter I feel like I have improved each and every year because my mishits aren't as bad as they used to be in the past. Although my leg has improved a little bit and my numbers have increased, I just feel like it is due to consistency alone that has allowed those numbers on paper to show. But I hope to keep improving on those and hope that my perfect ball, I hope that I can do that every time but that would not be realistic. I want my not perfect punt to be close to what I can do."
P-Dylan Breeding (on K-Zach Hocker also punting next season) -"I have seen it become difficult. In high school I was having to learn how to kick and learn how to kickoff so it is a little bit different. But as I was going through my career my leg wore out. That is what basically kept me from being able to achieve, performance wise. Zach has always handled all three and he seems to have the stamina in his leg that I have really never seen before. He has been gifted in that way. I think he will be able to handle it well. He is definitely talented enough to be the punter here and probable exceed everything I've done. Along with his field goals and kickoffs I think it will keep him more focused as well. I wouldn't be shocked if all three of his numbers began to improve too. Just by being on the field more and knowing that he is the guy in all three positions."
P-Dylan Breeding (on the impact of TE-Garrett Uekman passing away last year) -"I wish that I was closer to Garrett. It was unfortunate that I didn't get to know him very well. His willingness to come out to the field every single day and prepare as hard as we could according to the circumstances. Everything was good when he was here. But you know his legacy is not forgotten. We have had a couple guys that are tweeting his name and wear his number and do everything we can to remember him. He is definitely a big motivating factor for us. If we can play for something bigger than ourselves that is a big factor for these guys. If we were playing for record it would be fun but the good thing is we can all play for something bigger than ourselves. Some guys will be playing for Garrett and playing for God basically. We want to be able to perform for him. Record isn't an indication of success for me. I feel like as far as we can go out to the field and achieve the best we can it would make Garrett proud."
P-Dylan Breeding (on getting The Golden Boot back to Arkansas) -"We definitely want The Boot back. No doubt about it, that is our number one trophy this year. Honestly I don't even know about the Texas A&M trophy being passed around anymore. But the LSU one that has always been a tradition and it is just something that we want to climax our season. It would feel spectacular to be able to hoist that trophy at the end of the game. On paper they are pretty strong, but if we can just come through and do the best that we can, I think it would be a nice gift on top of everything that we have done this year."
P-Dylan Breeding (on what he likes about punting) -"I don't know why but I have always punted a ball growing up. I didn't get a chance to play until my junior year (in high school) but there is just something about it. I don't know it's just that so many people just aren't able to kick a spiral. When I am able to it is just something that impresses a lot of people. I don't really know how to answer this question but I find it satisfying that whatever you are getting better and better at you find interesting. If you are a good golfer and you improve your golf game, you can keep going and doing that. I find it to be fun and I hope that I can do it for money in the future."
