"It just kind of hits you," senior quarterback Tyler Wilson described.  "This is my last go at it, as well as for a number of people."

It's not the swansong Wilson and the senior class envisioned.  After back to back highly successful seasons, these Razorbacks will limp to a finish on Friday.

"It's just been one heck of a ride," senior punter Dylan Breeding said.  "Regardless of the ups and the downs that we've been through, it's going to be one emotional roller coaster as I'm running through the A one last time."

Emotions always play a role on senior day.  It is, after all, the end of an era.  But this year, and this week, between the disappointment of the season and the uncertainty going forward, emotions are running extra high around Razorback football.

"You can go back and look at everything and it's tough to look back at all that stuff," Wilson explained.  "We've learned a lot.  I don't regret coming back for anything."

As Hog fans turn their eyes toward the future and wonder who will lead the program, this year's team's hoping they will come out one more time and help put a dream ending on this nightmarish season.

"I'm thankful for these fans," head coach John L. Smith said with tears welling up in his eyes.  "Our fans have been the best place I've ever been.  If I get one back email, I get a hundred good ones in saying thank you.  So please come and say thanks to those players."
