"I know everything's kind of coming to an end," senior wide out Cobi Hamilton said after Tuesday's practice.

Their final season has been a disappointment, but it doesn't define these seniors.  Their body of work stacks up with any class in Arkansas history.  Friday brings the concluding installment.

"Just thinking about the last four years that I've spent with these guys is going to be a really sad moment to take the battlefield the last time with them," senior safety Ross Rasner described.

"I'm trying to have a smile on my face at all times because I know I'm going to be missing these days," Hamilton said.

"My last game with my boys," senior defensive tackle Alfred Davis added.  "One last time here in Fayetteville.  I think it will be a great day though."

It's not just the players reality is setting in for.  The future's very uncertain for the coaches on this staff as this will likely be the final time they all work together.

"It's tough but as a coach this is a part of it," Hogs defensive coordinator Paul Haynes said.  "You know this is a part of it.  Unfortunately I've been through it before so you go to work."

"That's part of the profession so you work as hard as you can," offensive coordinator Paul Petrino said.  Come the next day, if you're somewhere else, you work as hard as you can there.  You do the best job you can do."

The coaches and players all say the practice energy this week's been positive, but there's an undeniable uneasiness surrounding the program.
