Pigs go for a swim, and a kitten is rescued from an unusual place. Here are Wednesday's stories that go "Over the Edge".

The skyline in central Mexico, filled with dozens of hot air balloons, for the 11th annual Leon International Balloon Festival. The balloons come in various shapes including: butterflies, bees and the rock icon himself, Elvis. Event organizers say the festival has brought in almost two-million people.

Diving pigs! A farmer in China has trained his swine to jump at least three times a day from a 10-foot platform into a pond. He tells a Chinese news agency that the exercise makes his pigs leaner, which means they taste better. The pigs might even like the activity, the farmer says some jump up to 30 times a day.

Firefighters are used to taking calls about cats stuck in trees, but when a kitten is stuck inside an Abraham Lincoln statue, its quite a different story! Firefighters drilled a hole through the top and successfully made the rescue! The kitten was taken to a local vet to be checked out. Fittingly, he will be named Abe.
