Wednesday night's drawing for the $587 Million Powerball jackpot didn't make anyone in Arkansas a multi-millionaire. But during the 7-week run before a big winner was found, some The Natural State grabbed some pretty impressive numbers.  Here's a look!

Arkansas players won a whopping $1,187,622 in Powerball prizes during the October 4 - November 28 period.

And ticket seekers snatched up chances in huge numbers on Wednesday. Arkansas retailers sold $3,306,371 in Powerball tickets on the day of the drawing.

So what are the benefits to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery program?  Not too shabby.  Scholarship funds for November alone were enhanced by $3.4 Million,  by $1.4 Million just yesterday, and $4,335,834 for the entire run since October 4.
