Number five -- Powerball numbers revealed. Many in the Natural State were hoping to strike it rich, but lottery officials confirm winning tickets were purchased in Missouri and Arizona. In case you missed it, the winning Powerball numbers are 5, 23, 16, 22, 29, and the Powerball is 6.

Number four -- Top Bing searches. The site's top search was "iPhone 5." Rounding out the top five searches, the 2012 Election, 2012 Olympics, Hurricane Sandy, and Honey Boo Boo.

Number three -- A caring cop in New York City. NYC Police Officer Lawrence DePrimo gave a barefoot homeless man in Times Square a brand new pair of boots on a cold November night.

Number two -- LivingSocial layoffs. The Washington D.C. company announced it is letting 400 employees go.

Number one -- Lindsay Lohan arrested again, this time for assault. Lohan reportedly got into an argument with a woman and allegedly punched her in the face. Police caught up with the starlet and put her in cuffs. If she is formally charged, it could trigger yet another probation violation.
