"This year's been a nightmare. We've been through some really hard times after all the expectations,"  Walter Kelly, a Hog fan said.

Expectations that will soon fall on the next Head Hog.

"We want a coach that wants to be here and knows that it's the top 10 program that it has been the last couple years, not the program that it was this year," he said.

Fans say it'll take certain coaching qualities to get the Razorbacks on track for a winning season.

"We need a leader."

"I think we need somebody defensive minded."

"We need somebody to recruit Texas."

"Extreme knowledge of the game, we need defense, offense is wonderful, we score a lot of points but if you can't stop them then we're not going to win an SEC Championship," Terry Tuck, a local fan said.

There are a lot of different opinions, but fans agree on one thing, the new coach will need some time to revamp the program.

"Low bowl game first year, second year we should be gaining steam and if he isn't doing as well as Bobby Patrino then obviously we have the wrong coach," Tuck said.

"We need to see those blocks being built and we need to be right back there in the next two or three years and I don't see why we shouldn't," Kelly said.
