A local company is lighting up the holidays for a very special family.

Christmas Decor of Northwest Arkansas is hanging lights on the Pijanowski's home in Fayetteville Tuesday.

Kim Pijanowski suffers from ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, and also raises a three-year-old son with her husband John.

A neighbor nominated the family to receive the free holiday help.

"We wanted to just bring awareness to the disease as well as brighten their holidays this year," said Christmas Decor owner Amanda Rager.

"Having the help is wonderful, and it will brighten up my day to have it really festive," Kim Pijanowski told us.

Kim says she's thankful for the holiday help and also for her thoughtful neighbors.

"This is a really great example of the kind of abundant care that people have been showering all over me," she said.
