In a nod to Mike Anderson's "The Fastest 40 Minutes in Basketball," the athletic department has announced the Fastest 40 ticket promotion.

Between 8 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, and midnight, Thursday, Dec. 13, a 40 hour timespan, fans may purchase tickets for the Arkansas-Vanderbilt game, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12, for 40 percent off their original price.  Tickets are located in the upper level of Bud Walton Arena and will be $15 with a limit of eight tickets per order.  To take advantage of the offer, fans must purchase their tickets online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com and click on the Tickets tab.  From there navigate to buy tickets and click on promotions where you can enter the promo code FASTEST40 and follow the instructions to complete the purchase.  Fans ordering tickets have the option to print tickets from home utilizing Arkansas' eTicket system.

Once the Fastest 40 promotion concludes on Dec. 13, single-game conference tickets for Razorback basketball games will not be available until January 2.

The Razorbacks are 4-3 on the year and are traveling to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on the Michigan Wolverines, Saturday, Dec. 8.  Following the Michigan contest, the Razorbacks will play five games at Bud Walton Arena through the holidays before the Southeastern Conference schedule begins in early January.
