The Fayetteville Animal Shelter hosted its 2nd Annual Holiday Open House.

The shelter offered big discounts just in time for Christmas, $10 adoption fees for dogs and free cats!

Plus, Santa Claus was there to snap a few photos with furry friends and the shelter also offered painting sessions with your pet. Folks and their canine companions were able to create unique artwork, all while raising money for animal services.

"Having an event like this is great so we can get more people in and get them into homes," said Justine Lentz with Fayetteville Animal Services.

The event was a complete success, with more than 35 animals getting their forever homes just in time for the holidays.
