The Pulse: Mexican Superstar Dies in Plane Crash

This is Sunday night's edition of -- The Pulse.
Number five -- The first day of Hanukkah. The National Hanukkah Menorah was lit Sunday during a special ceremony in the nation's capital. The celebration marked the first day and second night of Hanukkah.
Number four -- "Fat girls." Those were the words written on a restaurant patron's bill. The server denied having anything to do with it, but is now suspended. The bar manager offered a sincere apology, but the three friends said the troubling experience will stay with them for life.
Number three -- Josh Brent is out of jail. The Dallas Cowboys player, arrested for intoxicated manslaughter, was released from jail and said he is mourning the loss of his best friend. Police said Brent was driving under the influence early Saturday morning when his car hit a curb and flipped over, killing his Dallas Cowboys teammate Jerry Brown.
Number two -- Patrick Moore has died. The eccentric and accomplished astronomer, author, and television show host passed away at his home in England on Sunday. Moore suffered from heart problems since a young age, but died surrounded by friends and his beloved cat.
Number one -- Jenni Rivera. Officials said they found the wreckage of a plane believed to have been carrying Mexican superstar Jenni Rivera. The plane lost contact with air traffic controllers outside Monterrey, Mexico shortly after takeoff early Sunday morning. After searching for hours, officials found the wreckage and said they believe no one on board survived the crash.
