Jenni Rivera Dead After a Plane Crash on Monday's Edition of "The Pulse"

A popular pop star, dead after a plane crash, and one California restaraunt is in some hot water, here is Monday's edition of "The Pulse".
Brian OkamAppalachian state reserve center Brian Okam may have had the worst free throw ever attempted on Saturday. With eleven minutes left in the second half of the game between the mountaineers and Western Carolina, Okam attempted a foul shot, the ball landed about ten feet short of the rim, leaving aTV analyst in such shock he said, "I'm not sure what that was. Good lord."
Receipt Controversy
A California restaurant is apologizing over a receipt describing three customers as "fat girls". Christina Duran and her two friends were shocked, and certainly didn't find it funny. In a Facebook post, the restaurant says it's "appalled" and "embarrassed" over the incident. It says the employee responsible was immediately fired.
Jenni Rivera
Popular singer Jenni Rivera was killed over the weekend in a plane crash. No one aboard the small aircraft survived. A preliminary investigation uncovered a California drivers license belonging to the singer at the crash site. Rivera was heading for the city of Toluca in Central Mexico after performing at a sold-out concert in Monterrey on Saturday.
Navy SEAL Killed
The military has identified the Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan, while rescuing a kidnapped American doctor. The pentagon says petty officer first class Nicolas D. Checque of Pennsylvania died from combat-related injuries in the rescue operation over the weekend. Checque, who was twenty-eight, belonged to navy seal team six, the same special ops group which raided Osama Bin Laden's compound.
Royal Tragedy
The fallout continues over last week's prank phone call involving the British Royal Family. A tearful TV appearance by the two Australian radio personalities that could have been responsible for the death of a nurse treating Princess Catherine.
