Twinkies: Final Countdown
It's the final countdown for Twinkies as we known them. Wednesday, a grocery store chain in Chicago is selling what may be the last shipment of the Hostess treat in the country. Jewel-Osco planned to put about 20,000 boxes of Twinkies and other Hostess goodies on shelves at more than 150 stores. The store says it got an offer from a Hostess rep asking if they wanted any remaining stock of one of its plants after the company went bankrupt. Now, the store is selling a surplus of the sweet treats. The Twinkie dates back to 1930, when a Hostess bakery manager first created it.

And across the globe, many people celebrated it with birthdays, or by getting married. Numerologists say the number 12 represents new beginnings.
