Fort Smith Police say Cameron Coleman, 23, was arrested for attempted aggravated robbery early Wednesday morning after attempting to rob a lady at an ATM with a kitchen knife.

The lady told police that a white male armed with a knife, approached her vehicle while attempting a transaction and demanded she open her car door.

Officers say when they arrived Coleman was standing at the back of the vehicle and the kitchen knife was on the ground and that he appeared to be intoxicated.

Cameron Coleman is currently being held at the Sebastian County Detention Center without bond, on the charge of Attempted Aggravated Robbery.
