A Fayetteville woman was killed in an accident Tuesday afternoon on I-40 in Prairie County.

According to a State Police crash report, 33-year-old Kristin G. Jackson was killed when the Ford Escort she was riding in was pinned between two tractor- trailers.

The crash report says all four vehicles involved were Westbound when the Ford Escort, driven by Justin Jackson, stopped behind one tractor- trailer that had stopped for construction.

A second semi-truck, driven by Micharl Serrat of Ft. Smith, was unable to stop and rear-ended the Escort, forcing it into the trailer of the semi-truck in front.

A third semi-truck, driven by Valerie Powers of Jonesboro, GA was also unable to stop and rear-ended the truck driven by Serrat.

Justin Jackson, also from Fayetteville, was injured and taken to UAMS in Little Rock.

According to the report, everyone involved wore a seat belt. There were no other injuries.
