A pair of much-anticipated releases helped give Hollywood a nice boost on Christmas Day.
That's just one of the top trenders this morning.
Universal's "Les Miserables" took the top spot at the Christmas box office, raking in $17.5 million.
The Quentin Tarantino film "Django Unchained" grossed $14 million.

Former President George H. W. Bush is still in the  intensive care unit at a Houston hospital.
He was admitted more than a month ago and has been battling the lingering effects of bronchitis.
His spokesman says a low-grade fever and other issues prevented him from being released.

Starbucks is publicly taking a stand on the looming fiscal cliff.
The company's CEO is asking workers to write "come together" on the coffee cups they serve on today and Friday.
He says it's a way to "send our elected officials a respectful but potent message, urging them to come together to find common ground."

More than 263,000 people want the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church, known for its pickets at soldiers' funerals, to be labeled a "hate group."
As of this morning, nearly 263,000 people and counting have signed an online petition on the White House website.
The petition says the church has targeted homosexuals, the military and other religions.
The signatures makes it the most supported single petition ever on the White House site.

Plenty of people woke up to a white Christmas in the River Valley, but for others, winter weather came at a cost.
Dangerous and deadly weather tore through parts of the U.S.
The system spawned multiple tornadoes.
Officials say a tornado touched down five times in the Mobile, Alabama area ripping off roofs and shattering windows.
