Man Arrested for Punching Pregnant Girlfriend

A Fayetteville man is in jail this morning after police say he admitted to punching his pregnant girlfriend.

Mornett Ferguson was arrested on second degree battery charges after police say he hit his girlfriend, who is five months pregnant with his third child, in the face repeatedly after an argument.
   
Ferguson is currently being held on $5,000 bond.
