Top Trenders for Friday, January 10th

By: Liz Hogan
Updated: January 10, 2013
An Arkansan is Charlie Sheen's latest "Goddess" and Jerry Sandusky is trying to win back his freedom.
These are the Top Trenders this morning.

Number 5:  Former Penn State Assistant Football Coach Jerry Sandusky is headed back to a courtroom today.
His lawyers are launching an appeal to reverse his conviction on multiple counts of child sex abuse.
At issue today is whether his lawyers were given enough time to prepare for his trial.
They argue mountains of information continued to pour in until the day the trial started.
Sandusky was sentenced to at least 30 years behind bars.

Number 4:  An Arkansas woman is "winning," and is reportedly Charlie Sheen's new main squeeze.
According to reports, Fort Smith native Georgia Jones is dating the actor.
Jones works in the adult film industry and currently lives in Los Angeles.

Number 3:  Is Justin Timberlake finally going to bring sexy back?
And by sexy, we mean new music!
Twitter is abuzz with rumors that Timberlake will be releasing a new single today!
The singer cryptically tweeted, "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 A.M. Pacific Standard Time."
Timberlake has not released any music since 2006, and instead has focused on his acting career.

Number 2:  It may not be trending worldwide, but we love this video!
We wanna give a shout out to Cooper Elementary in Bentonville.
The Cooper Broncos made a lip dub and it features almost 700 students and 60 staff members.
The video already has almost 5,000 views on YouTube!

Number 1:  This may be the cutest lion cub ever!
Okay, so he's not actually a lion, he's a Labradoodle!
But his neighbors mistook him for a big cat and called the police to report a baby lion on the loose.
The dog's owner says his pup's hair is cut to look like Old Dominion University's mascot.
This dog has quite a name to go along with that bold 'do.  He answers to Charles the Monarch.
