The Pulse: Clinton to Haiti on Anniversary of Quake

This is Saturday night's edition of --The Pulse.

Number five -- The White House said no to construction project "Death Star." The idea to build one was posted as a petition on the White House website and after receiving more than 34,000 signatures, the administration has to comment. In a statement, "The administration does not support blowing up planets."

Number four -- Fedral Aviation Administration reviewing the 787 Dreamliner. Boeing's jet of the future has had several problems this week, including leaking fuel and a fire, so experts are scrutinizing how the plane was assembled and how its parts were manufactured. Boeing said these problems are not unusual.

Number three -- Hobby Lobby fighting a piece of health care law in court to avoid millions of dollars in fines. The health care law requires employer-provided health care plans to make all FDA approved contraceptions and sterilization procedures available to female employees. The Christian-based craft chain has said it will not pay for what it calls "abortion-inducing drugs."

Number two -- Aaron Swartz is dead. The 26-year-old was well known for helping develop and popularize the social media website Reddit. Swartz made headlines in recent years for his legal troubles, and in 2011 was indicted on charges he stole millions of online documents from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Number one -- Former President Bill Clinton takes a trip to Haiti as the country marks three years since an earthquake decimated the capital. He attended a memorial at the burial site for the 250,000 Haitians killed in the natural disaster. Services are being held across the country to honor all those who lost their lives and three years later. The country is still recovering.
