Governor Beebe Would Sign a Death Penalty Repeal Bill

Governor Mike Beebe says if the Legislature sent him a bill to repeal the death penalty, he would sign it.

Beebe made the statement while speaking at a Political Animals Club event in Little Rock on Wednesday, according to our partners at Arkansas Times.

The last execution in Arkansas was carried out in 2005.
