One of the young men convicted in the 1998 Jonesborro school shootings was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff`s Department on January 1st of this year. Twenty-two year old Mitchell Johnson was pulled over by deputies after the car he was in was spotted weaving on the road. Deputies smelled the odor of marijuana in the car and asked both occupants to step out of the vehicle. Upon searching the car, a loaded 9mm handgun was found. Johnson claimed ownership of the gun and the driver of the vehicle, Justin Trammell was cited and released. Trammel, as some may remember, was convicted of killing his father with a crossbow in 1999.
