Boozman Receives Committee Assignments

The committees reflect similar assignments to what Boozman had in the 109th Congress.
Boozman also continues in the 110th Congress as one of only a few Republicans to hold three committee assignments.
The Committee on Foreign Affairs (formerly International Relations) deals generally with relations between the United States and foreign governments.
The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is responsible for building public infrastructure, including such major projects as highways, bridges, airports, locks and dams, and public transit systems.
The House Committee on Veterans` Affairs reviews veterans` programs, examines current laws, and reports bills and amendments to strengthen existing laws concerning veterans and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), including health care, disability compensation, GI bill education and job training, home loan guarantees, life insurance policies, and a nationwide system of veterans` cemeteries.
