Nat'l Peanut Butter Day

Saved by the Reunion
"Saved by the bell" could be making a comeback. Mr. Belding himself announced that he's all for a reunion, just after the actor who plays Zack said he'd be on board just last week.
Homecoming King
Three seniors at a Tennessee high school gave up a big honor to a fellow classmate. High school junior Scotty Maloney was thrilled to be crowned homecoming king after three seniors nominated for the title gave it to him. The homecoming king suffers from Williams syndrome, a nuerological disorder that affects learning and speech.
North Korea
North Korea said Thursday that it plans to carry out a new nuclear test and more long-range rocket launches, all of which it said are a part of a new phase of confrontation with the United States. The North's national defense commission said the moves would feed into an "upcoming all-out action" that would target the united states, "the sworn enemy of the Korean people."
Gun Control
Congressional democrats introduced a new and broader assault-weapons ban Thursday, in a press conference. It was a measure that was quickly condemned by the National Rifle Association as an assault on the constitution.
