Overnight, firefighters evacuate a Rogers motel, but reports of a fire turned out to be a false alarm.  The fire department tells us it started with an overloaded washing machine that overworked the machine's motor. That's when smoke  started moving onto the third floor of the Microtel Motel on South 9th St. forcing evacuations. Firefighters cleared the scene and people have since been allowed back in the building.
