FoodCorps Arkansas is now recruiting!

According to its website, FoodCorps has service members nationwide who work with local schools to make sure kids have nutritious food to eat.

They also teach children healthy eating habits through hands-on education like school gardens.

The group first started working in the Natural State in August of 2012.

Since then, Arkansas service members have reached more than 7,000 kids and donated more than 4,600 pounds of fresh produce to food banks and families.
