There's a big reward for the capture and conviction of wanted ex-cop Chris Dorner.

Dorner is on the run in California, accused of killing three people, including a police officer.

A former cop himself, Dorner claims LAPD racism cost him his job after he accused his training officer of kicking an elderly man during an arrest in 2007.

In an effort to show that the department is fair and transparent, the LAPD is re-opening Dorner's case.

A tornado touched down in Southern Mississippi on Sunday, injuring more than a dozen people and causing widespread damage.

The storm damaged several buildings at the University of Southern Mississippi, and damaged a nearby high school.

Also, power was knocked out to homes and trees were knocked onto on houses and cars.

The situation has prompted the governor to issue a state of emergency for four counties.

The blizzard that pummeled northeastern states has drifted out to sea, and now the clean up effort begins.

Hundreds of thousands are still without power, and as much as three feet of snow blankets parts of the coast.

President Obama announced a state of emergency in Connecticut, which got some of the heaviest snowfall, 40 inches worth in the city of Hamden.

Folks in Minnesota are bracing for even more snow today.

However, travel is slowly coming back to life, and power is gradually being restored.

Family, friends, and fans are remembering Whitney Houston on the first anniversary of her death.

The legendary singer died February 11th, 2012 the night before that year's Grammy Awards.

Her body was found in the bathtub of the Beverly Hilton Hotel room where she was staying.

Her death was later ruled an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.

Houston died at age 48 and left behind a daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Stars of the music world from Taylor Swift and Mumford and Sons to Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z rocked out last night at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

The group Fun. won Song of the Year for their hit "We Are Young," they also snagged the Best New Artist award.

The Black Keys were recognized for best rock performance, rock song and rock album.

Record of the year went to Gotye for "Somebody that I Used to Know."
