Falling Tree Limb Injures Benton County Woman

A Benton County Woman was taken to the hospital after high winds caused a tree limb to fall through her roof and hit her on the head.
Benton County emergency crews were called to the home on Hwy 12 just East of Springtown for a report that a woman had been struck by a tree limb.
A neighbor says the woman was sitting on her couch in the home when the limb fell through the roof and struck her on the head.
The neighbor says the woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.
Emergency crews say the limb was likely knocked loose by strong winds following Monday's storms.
