"Feeding America" and Wal-Mart have hit a milestone since partnering back in 2005.
Since then, more than one billion meals in food and products have been given to people in need.
Feeding America is the nation's largest hunger-relief charity that serves 200 food banks and 61,000 agencies across the country.
Officials with Wal-Mart say as the largest grocer in the country, they have a responsibility to help and solve the challenge of hunger in our communities.
According to the US Department of Agriculture, more than 50 million people in the United States are struggling with hunger.
