Teresa Marks of Little Rock will serve as director of the state Department of Environmental Quality, while Paul Suskie of North Little Rock has been named to the state Public Service Commission.
Marks, 49, has spent the past four years as the deputy attorney general for public protection in the state attorney general`s office.
Suskie, 35, has been North Little Rock`s city attorney since 2000. A major in the Arkansas Army National Guard`s Judge Advocate Corps., Suskie served a tour in Afghanistan in 2005. He unsuccessfully ran for state attorney general in 2006.
