The Razorback Football Spring schedule is out and fans won't be getting a taste of their favorite sport until the Spring game in April.

University of Arkansas Athletics are not allowing the public to watch any football practices this season.

Some fans are saying it's a rebuilding year so it'll reduce distractions. The majority of fans KNWA spoke with are not happy with the changes. Here's what they had to say:

"Considering the fact that you have a lot of die hard razorback fans and people who actually like to go out there and watch them practice, it gives them a lot of hope and ambition that they're going to win these games and see what the new coach brings to the table."

"It probably helps the players keep focus cause there's not people standing around or cameras or anything like that."

"I don't like that at all. I'd like to go watch them, I have before and it's been pretty fun and enjoyable."

"It can be a source of focus for the players, they don't have as many distractions, they're not playing like it's a game, they're more focused on learning than impressing somebody."

"I think it's good to you know let the public eye you know come in and watch and stuff just to you know keep up attendance to the games and that kind of deal."

"It's kind of a bummer for me, it's actually my first semester here, so I was looking forward to being a part of that aspect of being a fan."

Head coach Bret Bielema said in a news release, the Spring practices will be crucial for the success of the team.

He said he wants to use the time to prepare so the team can showcase their efforts in the "Red-White Spring Game" on April 20th.

The game will be 2 p.m., April 20th at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Admission is free.
