Walmart Launches Online Destination Geared Towards Empowering Women

Walmart, moving forward in its campaign to empower women.
The retail titan has a unveiled a brand new online destination for shoppers to support women-owned businesses around the world.
More than 200 items from 19 businesses in 9 countries will be available on the "Empowering Women Together" section of the retailers website.
This all part of a five year, 20 billion dollar commitment to advancing global women's economic empowerment.
The company says:
"With each purchase, consumers lift and empower the women behind these products to create new jobs and improve both their own lives and the lives of their families and communities."
