A forgotten inmate gets a settlement, and daylight saving's time is just days away. Here is Friday's edition of "The Pulse".

International Women's Day
Friday is International Women's Day. Across the world, women celebrate political, economic and social accomplishments. Here's your fun fact, there are 21 women CEO's in the Fortune 500, and twenty percent of the world's political power is in the hands of women leaders. Many women are taking today to raise awareness for equality in the workplace, and working to see the number of powerful women leader's grow.

Daylight Saving
Daylight savings time begins this weekend, when its time to turn the clocks ahead one hour. Remember, adults should be getting seven to eight hours of sleep a night , so don't let daylight savings time throw off your sleep schedule.

Forgotten Prisoner
A federal jury has awarded a New Mexico man more than 15 million dollars after he was left in solitary confinement and basically ignored for two years. He was arrested for drunk driving in 2005, and says he was malnourished, developed bedsores and dental problems while left in the cell, even being forced to pull his own tooth. Here you can see before and after pictures of the man.

Laden's Son-in-law Pleas
Osama Bin Laden's son-in-law, in front of a judge Friday in New York City. He's charged with one count of conspiring to kill Americans. He plead not guilty through his attorney. His next hearing is set for April 8th.

Chavez Funeral
World leaders gathered for the funeral of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez Friday. He will be embalmed and laid to rest at his military museum. You can see Chavez's mother, waving to the crowd during the service.
