Among the changes, the service men and women would have ten years from the date of their discharge to take advantage of GI Bill benefits. Those benefits currently expire on retirement. The changes to the GI Bill are being sought by Senator Blanche Lincoln and Representatives Vic Snyder and John Boozman.
