The crash reportedly occurred about 9 a.m. when a westbound SUV crossed the center turn lane on Albert Pike in Hot Springs and collided with an oncoming car.
A passenger in the second vehicle - 61-year-old Gary Joe King of Hot Springs - was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver of the first vehicle - Ronnie H. Horton, 29, of Little Rock - and the driver of the second - 59-year-old Evelyn M. King, of Hot Springs - were injured and taken to St. Joseph Medical Center, police said.
