A man, who police believe stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment from the Crystal Bridges Museum construction site, says he is innocent.
Jackson Scott Taylor, 33, pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of felony burglary and theft. Police believe he stole more than $24,000 worth of equipment.
Bentonville police say they tried to arrest Taylor at his home, but he drove off, and then ran into a wooded area, where police lost him. He was later arrested in Missouri during a routine traffic stop. He now sits in the Benton County Jail.
