The University of Arkansas is conducting a national search for a leading scholar in faith and spirituality in the workplace, to start up a new program.

The Tyson Family Foundation gave the University 2 million dollars to help fund a program that would help students learn how to deal with various religious beliefs in the workplace.

Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, Dave Gearhart, said this program has become an important thrust in business schools and the University wants to stay on the cutting edge. This program wont focus on one particular religion, but instead on all kinds.

Gearhart said its about the concept of faith and spirituality and what it means to a person when they bring it to the workplace. Once a taboo topic at work, understanding a co-workers faith is now becoming an asset.
