Heavy rains and flooding strand nearly 2,000 Oklahoma campers during this Memorial Day weekend. On Sunday flash flooding washed the only road in and out of the Turner Falls State Park located south of Oklahoma City in Davis. All campers are safe and can leave the park on foot bridges, but as of Monday morning camp visitors are unable to drive out of the campground. In the meantime Red Cross has brought in food and supplies to those in need. Park officials hope the water recedes and campers can drive out at some point today.
