Donald Brackney returned to his Sulphur Springs farm Tuesday to find his land riddled with boxcars and coal. "Theres probably going to be 250 to 300 truck loads of material theyre going to have to dispose of." Brackney said. Early Sunday morning a train derailed on a section of the Kansas City Southern track running by Brackneys farm. The wreck left more than 2,000 tons of coal piled along side the track and 23 boxcars rendering a section of his land useless. "I wont be able to pasture my ground here. Ive got my cows locked up in just a small area. My fences are down." Brackney said. "I’m going to be out of pasture for quite a while because theyre going to have to clean all this up and haul the coal out and cut the cars up and its going to take a little bit of a process to get it all done."
