A Springdale man now sits in the Washington County Detention Center facing a charge of forcible fondling. Forty-one year old Mario Acevedo Arebalos is accused of having inappropriate contact with a three year old relative. Investigators say Arevalos was taking care of the young girl when the incident occurred, but arent saying much else due to the age of the child involved. During an interview, the man told police that any inappropriate contact he may have had with the girl was an accident. Arevalos first hearing is scheduled for June 11th.
