Owners of the Payday Advance "Show Me the Money" located on Thompson Avenue received close to $42,000 in fines because the state says the business violated proper procedures and even broke the law. Wednesday KNWA spoke with an attorney for the owners who says it was actually employees of the store that caused the problems and even then, he says, it was in order to help out a customer. The attorney also said the owners of the store have no plans to get back into the payday lending business.
