A federal judge issued a permanent injunction against restrictive anti-illegal-immigration ordinances in Hazelton, Pennsylvania Thursday. The "Washington Post" reports U.S. District Court Judge James Munley ruled federal law prohibits Hazelton from enforcing any of the provisions of its illegal immigration ordinances.
They included fining landlords one-thousand-dollars a day for renting to illegal immigrants, revoking the business license of any employer who hires them and declaring English as the official city language.
