Gas Prices Increase Nationally, NWA Still Below National Average

The Lundenberg survey found that the nationwide average is now $3.50 a gallon for regular gas. Lundenberg analysts say higher crude oil prices are responsible for the hike.
Although gas prices have risen, the per-gallon average is still 46 cents under its peak in early April.
According to ArkansasGasPrices.com Gas prices in Northwest Arkansas still below the national average of $3.50. In Springdale, you can get gas for $3.22 at the Conoco on Thompson Street.
Murphy USA in Siloam Springs has gas for $3.21. Bentonville and Fayetteville are tied, gas is at $3.19 for a gallon of gas.
Cheapest gas can be found in Rogers on Walnut street at $3.17 a gallon.
