If you plan on spending time in razorback stadium this fall, there's a brand new song, written by a local fan, that will be played over the loudspeakers at the football games.

"The fans, they need a song of their own that they can call their own that's about them and the athletes," says Gordon Sullins.

It's a niche that hog fan Gordon Sullins wanted to fill.

"Listening to 'Hog Wild' and ACDC and other songs, but if the fans heard a song that was actually about them and the athletes you know what kind of excitement it is going to be at the first game," says Sullins.

So he started strumming, with a little inspiration from those who know the team best.

"It's a thrilling sound and the fans, I watch them get chill bumps all over their arms when the hog call starts."

From words on a page, all the way to stadium loudspeaker's this Fall, the song "It's Those Razorbacks" has taken off.

"The talk that's out there and the feedback I get, everybody loves the song and says it's the best razorback song they've ever heard."

The university added the song to their official football playlist for the season, but Gordon wants to do more than entertain.

"I hope it will help rally us to a championship this year, which I think we're all posed for that."

Now the song "It's Those Razorbacks" isn't just playing in the stadium, it's also on itunes, if you want to check it out before the season starts.
