Lawmakers Participate in Charity Basketball Game

Next Tuesday, Arkansas  lawmakers will put politics aside and and square off in a new arena, the basketball court.

State Senators and Representatives  have partnered with Big Brothers & Big Sisters for a first-time charity event. "Hoops for Kids Sake".

The match-up  promises to feature Republicans and Democrats from both chambers along with celebrity players and coaches.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p-m on March 19 at the Jack T. Stephens Center, In Little Rock.

All proceeds will benefit Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Central Arkansas.
