A local dog has quite a cult following and all he does is ride in a scooter.

Sir Winston loves to go out for a ride in his scooter, but he isn't the one driving. That's his chauffeur. Sir Winston is the cuddly guy in the back. His free ride in life started out with some bumps in the road.

"He was found abandoned and someone emailed his photograph around where I work. He needed a home," his chauffeur said. "I looked at the photo and I said that's my dog."

Sir Winston's owner, (who wishes to remain nameless), needed transportation for the two of them so she bought a scooter and a carrier for the back.

"He scoots around everywhere with me. He loves it," she said.

Sir Winston also has a facebook page with 1,700 followers. He uses the site to update folks about his travels.

"I think he has one in Japan," his chauffeur said. "I don't know how that happened."

It's just funny how a little dog can make a big change in life. Here is a link  to Sir Winston's facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/SWFSD
