Magazine Focused on Reality Celebrities Launches

By: Amanda Ashley
Updated: December 30, 2011

The very first issue of a new magazine highlighting just reality television stars hit news stands this week.

Reality Weekly, published by American Media, Inc., will be put out weekly with the inaugural magazine hitting newsstands Wednesday, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Much like similar star rags, Reality Weekly focuses on celebrity news and gossip - but no movie makers or politicians here.  These pages are dedicated to the personalities that shape the reality TV landscape only.

And it's cheap. WWD reports the magazine opted for a $1.79 and issue price, making it an extra dollar cheaper than even the lowest priced celebrity mag rivals. A spokeperson for the magazine says the price was picked to make them competitive in the market.

So do you read gossip magazines?  Would you read one dedicated only to the likes of Kardashians and American Idols?  Join the conversation HERE.
