Washington Regional in Fayetteville has a new high tech device that helps with surgery.

By using The newest Da Vinci S.I device, surgeons can operate with the help of robotic arms.
It allows doctors to see a patient in high definition and ten times what the human eye can see.

And according to officials from the hospital, that type of vision is extremely important when working on a patient.

"It will help surgeons keep nerves in tact.  It will also help prevent bleeding
when you are working inside the abdomen.  The only vision
surgeon's have is from the camera," said Director of Surgical Services Candice Emanuel.

Surgeons have to go through training before they can use the device.  The hospital plans to roll out the Da Vinci S.I. in April.
