Fayetteville Man Tries to Escape to Avoid Going to Jail

Washington County deputies say a detainee tried to escape as they were leaving the courthouse Tuesday.
Logan Myers was heading back to be booked into the jail, and deputies say he became visibly upset about it.
As a deputy walked Myers and another detainee from the courthouse to a patrol car, the deputy says Myers took off running, with his hands cuffed behind his back.
Security guards were able to capture him.
He faces a charge of third degree escape.
