Centerton Officer Injured in Car Accident

A Centerton patrol officer was injured in a Friday morning car accident.

According to Benton County Dispatch, the accident occurred on Main Street and Town Vu and involved a green Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The patrol car struck the Jeep along the driver's side.  The officer was taken to the hospital.  The woman in the Jeep was not injured.

Arkansas State Police are working the accident.
